A major Brand name in the manufacturing of high quality products for the Heating and Plumbing Market is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to sell a full range of Heating/Plumbing products on their technical merits to a range of plumbers, contractors, Housing Associations and Local Authorities. The aim is to build brand loyalty and confidence with the above customer base.
You will push your specifications through an account base of Builders and Plumbers Merchants, such as, Graham and Plumb Center. This will also involve offering the merchants product support and training to maximise their sales potential.
The role will cover South London, Kent, Surrey, Middlesex - all within the M25.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the store achieves their sales targets for paint and sundry sales whilst at the same time delivering the highest standards of customer service and controlling costs.
You will already have experience within a customer facing trade or retail sales environment – ideally as a manager of your own store or section. Whilst prior product knowledge is not essential, you must have a keen interest in decorating and/or DIY and be quick to learn.
You will be self motivated, determined, resourceful, enthusiastic and above all committed to delivering a first class service to our customers.
You would be responsible for a team of five, so good staff management skills are an essential requirement for this role. Good administrative skills would also be an advantage.
