Our client is a well established UK manufacturer offering a leading range of commercial heating, air handling and chilling products. 

This is a newly created role due to expansion our client is looking to recruit a high calibre specification manager to lead the business into the M&E sector. The role will be entirely based on generating specification with M&E consultants and engineers. The product range includes heating, cooling and ventilation products. 

We are looking for a high calibre sales person with experience dealing with M&E consultants. It would be significantly beneficial if the candidate has experience selling relates products such as chillers/air movement/air handlers/ commercial heating.

The area would cover: South Wales, North Somerset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall 

We are seeking a sales motivated individual with field sales experience selling a technical building / construction product to contractors or housebuilders. Ideally this person will have knowledge of the building envelope or heavyside market and have a proven track record in selling new products to market and be a hungry new business winners. You should also be able to explain construction methods and technical details to customers and end users and be self motivated, personable and an excellent communicator.

Building Products Sales Management Job
Job Title: Key Account Manager

Salary: £35-40k plus bonus and benefits

Our client is a European market leading brand with a superb reputation and household name offering interior finishing and decorative products. 

Due to an internal promotion, the company is looking to recruit a new Key Account Manager to manage their major independent retail accounts in the UK. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business plans that will add value, volume and profit to the key accounts, negotiating annual trading agreements / listings and promotions and identifying new key accounts within the independent retail sector. 

You could cover nationally, but ideally to be home based centrally in the Midlands or just South of that, so could live in West Midlands, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, London, Wiltshire or Somerset. 

To be considered for this role you will need to have had success working as a Key Account or National Account Manager and have dealt with independent retail accounts. Ideally knowledge of the construction or building products market would be an advantage but is nor essential. It is more important that you have advanced selling and negotiating skills, numeracy, analytical and computer skills. This is a high profile role and will require UK travel and occasional overnight stays.
